Biography

Catherine Marsh is a Clinical Innovation Project Coordinator with HSE Spark, and former National Nursing and Midwifery Innovation Fellow. With a background in sexual assault forensic nursing, service design, and healthcare innovation, Catherine is passionate about using human-centred design and innovation to develop practical, scalable solutions that improve the experiences of patients, families, and healthcare professionals. Her work focuses on translating frontline insights into sustainable service improvements, with experience leading national initiatives including examiner-led forensic photography in SATU services and the co-design of postnatal hubs across Ireland.
