Biography
Kevin has extensive healthcare experience in Ireland and US, in diverse service settings and roles which have included clinical practice, leadership, education, and research. In addition to undergraduate nursing studies, Kevin completed post-graduate studies in administration, education, clinical psychology, and a PhD with the RCSI Dublin.
Kevin has particular interests in the study of complex behaviours including conflict and aggression within health and social care settings, and in the implementation of trauma informed care.
He has contributed to and led a number of national and international initiatives in these subject areas, and has developed and evaluated academically accredited post graduate programmes in complex behaviour and trauma informed care.
In addition to teaching, Kevin remains clinically active, and research active within a number of international subject related networks.
