Biography

Laura Critien is Certification Lead at the Loss Prevention Certification Board (LPCB), part of BRE.

Laura has supported the development and delivery of certification schemes including the Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS), Building Information Modelling (BIM) and Products for Mental Health Safeguarding (ProMHS), working with technical groups, accreditation bodies and industry committees.

She works with manufacturers, specifiers and industry partners to develop LPCB standards that provide a consistent approach to assessing, testing and verifying products for mental health environments.

Through ProMHS, LPCB provides independently verified evidence of product performance, helping specifiers make informed choices for different settings and risk profiles.
